The phenomenal success of our Stone of Steel™ led to the development of our next piece of ground-breaking strength equipment … the Power Keg™. With the traditional keg, adding or subtracting sand or water to adjust the weight was a real hassle.
We’ve adopted the same design characteristics as our Stone to make it simple to create a plate-loaded keg. Constructed of 1/4″ steel. The Power Keg™ is much more durable than a traditional keg.
Without plates, the Power Keg™ weighs 150lbs and can be loaded with close to 500lbs of plates. This piece of equipment is ideal for everyone from beginner to elite athlete.

An absolutely beastly piece. I got mine in preparation for Oregon’s Strongest Man, and as per usual MB Powercenter fashion, it was delivered exceedingly quickly and without difficulty. Adding weight, easy as can be. Pressing it? Ungodly difficult, as nature intended.
I’ve dropped the Power Keg unceremoniously more often than I’ve successfully pressed it, and the powder coat is undamaged. Even if the drops were on to crash pads, some of my other pieces from other companies haven’t weathered such use so gracefully. Mike and his team leave little to no room for a dissatisfied customer.

Made of the highest quality! steel is very thick and I don’t see it ever bending or denting from proper use.
Included the allen wrench, seems like something you’d expect but other equipment companies don’t include the tools with the product.
Powder coating is very thick and very high quality.
This keg will last longer then you do 💯
